I’m almost 37 weeks pregnant and really starting to feel it. HA! Actually I feel pretty good but swear I doubled in size the last few weeks and don’t know how I’m going to get any bigger. I mentioned in my last bump-date post that I have Gestational Diabetes as well as something called Marginal Cord Insertion, you can read that here.
At first, starting a baby registry seemed really daunting. There were so many new items we needed and I didn’t really know where to start. For a few months Jeff and I were both researching products and narrowing down what we thought we’d need. We also talked to a lot of friends with kids and consulted Pinterest. I know our baby isn’t here yet, but I’m feeling pretty prepared “stuff” wise and wanted to share my guide to registering.
One of my favorite parts of my pregnancy has been decorating the nursery. There’s so much that goes into it and it definitely doesn’t happen overnight so I wanted to share some recent steps we’ve been working on. This room used to be Jeff’s home office and we had to completely clear it out to start with our blank slate for baby. I knew I wanted to keep the walls and furniture white and add a bright statement rug – I fell in love with this one. It’s a rug that will easily transition into a big girl room down the road.
