Sometimes I shop in the kid’s section.
I was recently at Target and cruised through the girl’s department when I spotted these amazing pants. Having short legs can really be a blessing since for the first time in forever it’s a pair of pants that I don’t need hemmed.

Like I mentioned yesterday, Friday was my last day at a job I had for over five years. On my last day I wanted to wear something that I could transition from the office to my going away party.
I love wearing blazers over dresses during the day but I made the look more party friendly by removing it. I didn’t have time to get the dress altered so I threw on a belt. It was a quick fix to make it a bit shorter and more form fitting.

Remember the scene from Clueless where Cher was mugged at the liquor store on her way home from the val party?! Where she was forced to get down on the ground in her Alaia (a-what-a) and give the mugger her bag and phone and then use the pay phone to call her ex-step-brother (and future boyfriend) to come save her?
Yes, I’ve seen the movie 700 times.
Anyway, that scene was shot at a real liquor store in the valley. It still looks the same today, almost 17 years later. But I guess that’s not hard for a somewhat tacky and grungy but still awesome liquor store. continue reading
Denim and lace is a combo I never tire of. This summer alone I’ve worn it multiple times and will continue to through all the seasons. This past week, before I met up with friends for dinner in Laguna Beach, we pulled over to take some pics. Unfortunately the lighting wasn’t great, but I had to share anyway.
