Memorial Day, the unofficial start of summer, is just one week away! Which means relaxed weekends with backyard BBQ’s and beach bonfires will be here in basically the blink of an eye. How cute is this watermelon tee? I’d wear it untucked with those white eyelet shorts. The wayfarers and bracelet compliment the top perfectly and the yellow sandals add a fun twist to tie the look together.

I put together this look to wear for a fun night out. Whether it be a girls night, hot date, or whatever, it’s perfect for warm nights. The magenta peplum dress is right on trend, and when paired with the colorful crystal drop earrings and coral clutch, it gets an unexpected pop to really send it over the edge. The simple chain bracelet and black ankle-band stilettos bring in a more classic element. I can’t wait to wear something like this soon!

If your summer is anything like mine it’s packed with graduations and showers and Birthday parties. It’s such a fun time of year but can sometimes be overwhelming when trying to find the perfect dress for every special occasion. I put together a summer dress collage to give you some inspiration for your next event.
Remember months back when Target collaborated with Missoni and introduced most of the country to the vibrant zig zags fashionistas had coveted for decades? How could you forget?? The website crashed, angry housewives brawled in the aisles, and most people left with more scratches than merchandise. I had to work that day so I sent my mom to her nearest Target in Orange County as soon as the doors opened. Unfortunately there was already a huge crowd and she was unable to obtain the majority of my ridiculous wish list.
While I did get a few things, I began to notice other stores were riding the coat tails of the Missoni craze and I happily climbed on board. This dress is the perfect example.

The past several seasons we’ve seen a handful of celebrities in the short suit on red carpets. It’s fresh and flirty and stands out in a sea of dresses. My favorite was Gwyneth Paltrow at the Iron Man 2 premiere a few years back.
Although my legs aren’t even a fraction as long as Gwynie’s, I decided to put my own spin on this trend.
