Crosby is five months old today! It’s crazy how fast it’s going – we’re trying to savor every minute while she’s still this small but she’s changing every day. This month she’s starting interacting with us much more and has finally started to notice and pet Mackie. I can’t wait to see their relationship develop.

She’s rolling like a champ and prefers to be on her tummy these days. It was a little scary at bedtime at first, we’d put her in her bassinet on her back and she’d immediately roll to her stomach. We had to quickly change to an arms free swaddle sack. We actually still use this one but keep her arms out. It took her a day or so to adjust to it but she’s still been an amazing sleeper – she usually sleeps for about 10 hours at night and takes two main naps in her crib for 1-2 hours each.

We finally graduated from newborn size diapers to size 1’s! It only took us five months, but that’s to be expected since she’s only in the 5th percentile for weight. Since we made the switch we’ve been using Bambo Nature diapers and wipes. At her doctor’s appointment last month she weighed 11.5 pounds and was 23 inches.

I’m linking all our monthly favorites at the bottom of the post!

Monthly favorites:

OwletWe finally started using this once she started rolling over to sleep and love it. It give us peace of mind that she’s getting enough oxygen and that her heart is beating at a healthy rate and will alert us if anything is going wrong. So far the only alert we got was a 4 am alarm that the battery needed to be charged when we forgot to charge it earlier.

Dock a totNow that Crosby naps in her crib the dockatot is getting a lot of use. It helps keep her secure in her crib that would otherwise feel too large for this little peanut.

HumidifierA few weeks ago Crosby had a stuffy nose so we decided we to break out our humidifier and see if it helped. It did and we’ve been sleeping with it every night since.

4moms tubWhen she was a newborn we used this blooming bath petal to bathe her in the sink but now we’re using this tub. It’s amazing, it tells you if the water is too hot or too cold and gives the baby a nice inclined place to sit.

SophieThese are super popular for a good reason! I don’t think Crosby is teething yet but she drools a lot and loves to clutch her Sophie. We bring it with us when we leave the house and it’s really cute to see her holding on to her. Plus it keeps her happy!

Baby Brezza: I think this is included in my monthly favorites every month because it’s such a huge time saver for us. I’m still breast-feeding, pumping and supplementing and would spend too much time mixing formula if it weren’t for this handy device. It’s like a Keurig for babies and I’m so happy we have it!

Bambo Nature skin care Love this organic and eco-friendly line. We use their shampoo and body wash and lotions and they safe and gentle. They don’t irritate her skin and keep it so soft!

And of course I have to share our current favorite baby clothes!
