I share a lot of products on the blog but one question I get asked a lot is what I’m actually buying myself. I thought it would be fun to start a monthly series where I share some recent purchases since I love seeing what bloggers I follow are buying.
I’d been eyeing these for a few weeks, they’re a great dupe for this pair. When I showed Jeff he asked if I was going country. Not quite. I wore them with a casual outfit on New Years, (you’ll see that tomorrow) but love that they can be dressed up or down. Plus they’re really comfortable! Topshop sizing is European which converts to only half sizes in US. I wear a size 6 normally but got the 6.5, they’re a little big so I wear a thicker sock.
When I cleaned out my closet last week I noticed how much I was loving basics. These tops are great, you can layer them or wear them on their own and come in a bunch of colors. They’re a tighter fit so if you don’t want anything hugging your stomach, size up!
I received a set of these as a gift and loved them so I turned around and purchased a set to gift as well. Mine are the dove gray with my name monogramed in tiny gold letters. I keep them smaller one in my diaper bag for items I don’t want getting lost and will use the larger one for travel. It feels like such a upgrade from the travel cases I was using previously.
Ok disclaimer, every time I check these pants sell out but have been getting restocked often. So if you see they’re sold out check again in a day or so! I got them right before Christmas and wore them a ton over the last two weeks. I even got Crosby this pair that kind of matches.
This may seem like a strange purchase and doesn’t really fit in with the rest of them, but that’s how it goes! My hair has been really dry lately and one of my friends swears by a castor oil hair mask. I’ve been using coconut oil on it for the last year but figured I’d change it up. I haven’t tried it yet but I’ll keep you updated on how I like it!
