Although I do like to dress up, I’m all about practical style. It just fits in with my life. When shopping I look for pieces I can wear every day while working from home and playing with an active toddler, that still work if I am out and about. Last winter I discovered this button front thermal top and since then I’ve purchased it in two more colors and consider it one of the most worn tops in my closet.

This is the original top I purchased. I got it in tan and then went back and got gray as well. It’s under $50 and comes in lots of colors. They seem to update and add colors pretty regularly and it’s been in stock at Urban for over a year.

I’m pretty sure that’s the top that started the trend. Since it was so popular other retailers took note and came out with their own versions that are just as good.

Here’s a short sleeve version that would actually be perfect for warm fall weather. This one is right around $40 and comes in three colors.

If your weather is even warmer (maybe you live in Southern California like me) but you still want to wear the waffle knit, this sleeveless version is the top for you. I’m actually adding it to my cart right now. It’s about $30 and comes in two colors.

I found a couple really similar priced a lot lower than the original version. I spotted this one on our family date to Nordstrom Rack Friday night and picked it up in black. It has a bit more of a relaxed fit, but I love it for this time of year. I actually styled it as a cardigan over the weekend and will be sharing that look soon.

And then good old Amazon came out with this version. I’m loving the printed sleeve version and think you might be seeing me in this one eventually.
