I have showed glimpses of my condo before: here, here, here, herehere and here. But I thought it was time to give a proper home tour. I’ve been living here for almost two years and I love it. As if things couldn’t get better, one of my best friend recently bought the unit next door… it’s like having a roommate without having a roommate if that makes sense.

Anyway, I looked for the perfect place for close to two months but it felt like two years because I was devoting every waking free moment to it. I was obsessive about checking MLS listings online and made my realtor take me to every open house in Los Angeles. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit but I was so happy to find this place and feel like I really lucked out. Side note, if anyone in LA needs a realtor, I’ve got you covered. Second side note, my photog and DSLR were gone so I took these with my little point and shoot.

Take a peak at part one, my entry way, kitchen and dining room…

I keep my countertops very clean of clutter. I have plenty of storage space and excess stuff stresses me out. I’m a little OCD at times.

Another thing I lucked out on were the upgrades. I changed paint colors, lighting and the floor but everything else was done by the previous owners. Although I had dreams of an all white kitchen and practically gave my dad a heart attack when I told him I was going to replace these nice cherry cabinets with white, I’ve grown to like them.

Since I don’t have an office, I do my blogging from my dining room. Usually my laptop is at the head of the table, but I cleaned it up for the pictures.

home7The first things I picked out were my chandeliers. I found the dining room and entry way chandeliers on Overstock. I am so happy with them.

Check back the following two Mondays for parts 2 and 3 of my home tour.
