We may be in the thick of the holiday season right now, but in just a few weeks it will be 2018. The end of this year really snuck up on me! The start of a new year always brings a blank slate and perfect time to make a resolution. This year I wanted to stay ahead of the game and get going on my New Year’s resolutions early.

On the top of my list is a new year beauty routine. Since I became a mom in 2017, I put some of the steps of my routine on the back burner. I don’t think I’ve had a mani/pedi since my baby shower and I’m definitely not as thorough as I could be with my nighttime routine. The best way to get into a new routine is with new products and I’m enlisting some of the best to get me started.

sonicsmooth True Sonic Dermaplanging System by Michael Todd Beauty – I just started using this device and it’s already made my skin smoother, softer and brighter! I also noticed it helped my makeup go on more evenly. It’s the best way to exfoliate to help your skin be it’s healthiest. It has three speed settings and movements that remove dead skin and peach fuzz.

Lumene products – I was so excited to try these amazing products from Lumene to continue along the route of making my skin glow into the new year. The Invisible Illumination products are my favorite. This is skin care infused makeup that provides lightweight coverage and is infused with Arctic Spring Water. The coverage is perfect for my day-to-day life as a mom and leaves my skin looking glowing so if I have to take photos I don’t need any additional coverage.

One Two Lash – I’ve always been a little intimated by false lashes. They took be back to the thick strips I wore in my high school competitive dance and cheerleading days. Not cute. But they’ve come a long way. These are the world’s first magnetic lashes! After watching this how-to video I was able to apply them myself and love how they enhanced my natural lashes, while making them look longer and thicker… not at all like those outdated high school false lashes.
