The past few weeks have made me incredibly thankful for an outdoor space. We have been soaking up as much sun as possible and trying to spend as much time outside tiring the kids out. Luckily the weather has been cooperating. Some of my outdoor furniture is on sale for 40% off right now along with the entire World Market outdoor department.
This is definitely a post I never thought I’d be writing, but life is weird right now! I had a request to share ideas for gift ideas for a friend who might have a Birthday during the current pandemic. I thought this would be an interesting blog post to think outside the box and come up with some fun gift ideas to brighten someone’s day. You could really send some of these whether they’re celebrating a birthday or not.

Spending all this time at home with toddlers can be a challenge. On one hand it’s nice because we can stay on a great napping/sleeping schedule, but the days can definitely drag on. I want to share some of my favorite toys and activities for keeping them busy and tantrum free… for at least two minutes anyway.

Hello from my house! I can’t even remember what day it is or how many days we’re into the social distancing, but here I am. A month ago if you would have told me we would all be quarantined in our houses I would have thought you lost your mind, it feels surreal to be living out this weird historical event. Crosby’s third Birthday is one that we will always remember. She was so excited for her party and talked about it for months and even changed her mind on the theme a handful of times. She was still switching themes back and forth when I decided to do under the sea. This was really the first year she had a good understanding of what a birthday was and could not wait for her friends to come to her party.

Happy Birthday Crosby Brave! Three years ago (last night) Jeff and I were watching the Bachelor finale when I started to feel what I thought were Braxton Hicks contractions. I secretly downloaded a contraction timer app and monitored them without telling him. At 3 am we headed to the hospital “just in case” and Crosby was born about seven hours later.

Eleven months! One more month until Wilder is one, I just can’t believe it. His face is basically how I feel about him almost being a toddler. I just want to keep him a baby forever. He’s had a pretty busy month… his top 4 teeth popped through, speed crawls all through the house and pulls himself up on anything and everything.
