I can’t believe this is my first post with white jeans! They are a constant staple in my wardrobe and I don’t abide by the old only wear from Memorial to Labor Day rule. I wear winter white in the winter and rock my white jeans during daylight savings time which is mid-March to November.
I dressed them up here and snapped pictures after a long day at work.
June in Southern California typically means cloudy weather, or “June Gloom.” This year we haven’t had much of it at all, which I’ve loved, but it was pretty gloomy the other evening. I threw on this blazer and my favorite booties for warmth before I headed out to dinner.
In the summer I gravitate towards comfortable pieces that can be worn everywhere, from warm sunny days over a bikini to dinner beside the ocean. I like versatile items that not only go day to night but even season to season. Here are six summer staples to give you some ideas for your warm weather wardrobe.
Although I love bright bold colors, white has always been a favorite of mine in the spring and summer. And I just love white lace and crochet dresses and tops that make feel a little ethereal when I wear them. This top does just that. It’s effortlessly bohemian but still manages to look polished.
I love the way this top looks with shorts so the other day I threw on an old olive green pair and my trusty Missoni flats to run some errands.
I’ve touched on this previously, but my absolute favorite beauty product is it’s a 10. It’s a leave-in conditioner, detangler, heat protector that I use every single time I wash my hair. It makes it shiny and soft and keeps it feeling clean for days, (I only wash my hair every three days or so) so this is essential for keeping my hair tolerable between washes.
My hair stylist uses it, as well as stylists on set at work so I know it comes highly recommended. If you’ve never tried it, pick some up ASAP and let me know how your hair feels after.
