I’m so excited for the opening ceremony of the Olympics tomorrow night! I love watching the games and always look forward to it (especially gymnastics). There’s just something about the unity it brings that brightens peoples spirits for two plus weeks.
I got this shirt at Urban Outfitters a few years ago and loved it for a few reasons- I live in Los Angeles and I was born the summer of the 1984 Olympics.
I know summer is about half over, but I’m not ready to concentrate on fall fashion yet. Plus, I live in LA so it will still be “summer” well into October.
Here are a few things I’m lusting over today…
If I had an unlimited budget I’d buy everything here, unfortunately I don’t so I’ll just drool.
My nails are always painted. Always. I hate when they chip and do them myself at least once a week.
I have an extensive collection, but have been searching for a milky pink for awhile and finally tried Essie’s ‘Fiji.’ I am so glad I picked it up, it’s light but not sheer like so many of the pale pinks I’ve tried. It’s soft and versatile and looks great with a tan. I’ll be wearing it for many weeks to come.
I don’t wear all that much black but this past week I’ve been all about it. Maybe because I’ve been wearing lots of many bright colors with summer… every once in a while it’s nice to take a break.
This high-low skirt is a staple in my wardrobe. I love dressing it up like I did here, but I’ve also worn it to work with a tee and flat sandals. Despite the trendy hemline, I have a feeling I’ll wear it through many seasons to come.
