Now that Crosby is on the move I’m on the hunt for hard-sole shoes that will fit her tiny feet. These days if she’s awake she wants to be walking/running around, so we’re all getting a good workout! The only problem is she wears a size 2 in infant shoes and most of the harder sole shoes start at a bigger size.
Today Crosby is one and I’m trying to wrap my head around how that happened. It’s been hands down the fastest and best year of my life, and I know each year is going to go by even quicker from here on out. We had a bit of a rough start because she was so tiny and didn’t really want to eat, but we got through it and now even that seems like a blur.
Now that I’ve been a mom for nearly a year (CRAZY!) I wanted to start sharing more breakdowns of some of our favorite baby products. One thing we couldn’t have gotten through the last year without is a good travel crib, or pack and play as they’re most commonly known as. There are so many out there now and I’ve had a few friends ask for recommendations on which to purchase.
We just spent a fun winter-y weekend in Big Bear with friends. All last week the forecast called for lots of snow so we frantically pulled out our warmest clothes and even ordered chains for the car. Well mother nature had slightly different plans. While it wasn’t quite blizzard conditions we arrived to a teeny bit of snow and got about an inch Saturday night. Just enough to make a bunch of Orange County kids happy… and not too much that we froze.
