Purple Sweater + Leather

January 21, 2015 by Ashley No Comments

sweaterbridge2

I’m not really a purple person, but this sweater has barely left my body this past week. Technically it’s cobalt, but it sure looks purple to me. Anyway…

Sadly it already sold out, but I went ahead and pulled a ton of similar options for you.

I’ve been loving layered winter looks and was excited to wear this Saturday. I pulled my sweater over a t-shirt, threw on my leather jacket and felt hat and hit the ground running. The only problem was it was 75 and sunny. Oh, southern California winter, you are a tricky one. But that’s the beauty of layers… pretty soon I’d stripped down to my tee for a boat ride and all was right in the world. continue reading

Wrap Jumpsuit

October 13, 2014 by Ashley No Comments

black jumpsuit 1

If you’ve spent any amount of time on my blog this past summer, you’re well aware of my romper obsession. Naturally that obsession carried over to jumpsuits as well, however I’ve had a really hard time finding one that fit me correctly. Kinda like the problem I have in maxi dresses (they swallow me), long jumpsuits do as well. This Rebecca Minkoff onesie was just too good to pass up. Not only does it fit but it’s the most comfortable piece of clothing I own. I’m not kidding, I could sleep in it! Now I’m on a mission to find more. continue reading

Fall Transition

September 25, 2014 by ashadmin 2 Comments

nuderomper1

Although the calendar says it’s fall, the weather still has other plans. Luckily this cold-shoulder romper is here to help me slowly ease out of my summer wardrobe. I always love neutrals, so I went for a somewhat monochromatic beige look by matching my shoes and then added some fun pops of turquoise with my accessories. I could probably get away with wearing this into November if I pair my trusty denim jacket over it.

Matching Separates

September 18, 2014 by ashadmin 1 Comment

I spent the summer obsessing over matching separates. I love this trend and don’t see it going away any time soon. From the cute shorts and tops sets to fun skirts and now even pants are getting in on this trend! My favorite part of this trend is that when worn together the separates look like one piece, but you can also pair them with other items making them such a score.

Floral Sweater

September 2, 2014 by ashadmin No Comments

How crazy is it that it’s already September? And even crazier that there are only a few months left in the year! Hope you all had a good holiday weekend, I spent mine beginning the wedding venue hunt, which is much harder than I ever imagined!

Anyway, I’ve always loved mixing floral print and seersucker. It’s fresh and perfect for late summer (it’s still summer) and even early fall. I’ve been thinking about other ways to style this Shabby Apple sweater. I’ll edge it up with a leather skirt in the fall and pair it with a tweed skirt and tights in the winter. I love versatile pieces like this. continue reading

Zig Zag Dress

This dress is so fun and easy to style. I’ve worn it to work with a chambray shirt tied over it, but it’s perfect for occasions you need to be a little bit dress while feeling comfortable. And it’s so light weight, it’s absolutely perfect for summer!
