Until recently I used my bar cart less as a bar and more of a booze storage place. It housed all of our bottles of alcohol. I never really took on the task of styling it or making it functional.
What a weekend! I think I’ll be recovering from Crosby’s Birthday party for the next month. Kid’s parties are no joke! I posted some photos on my IG story over the weekend and got a lot of questions on where everything was from so I wanted to get a post up with some of my favorite details.
We’re still working away on a few loose ends of our remodel, but we’re finally able to really enjoy the place. It’s been so rewarding watching all the things we worked on and dreamed up come to fruition and we’ve really had fun decorating the space! I wanted to share a few of my current favorite places in our main living areas. It’s crazy what paint, plants and pretty art can do to make a house feel like a home.
One of my favorite places to shop for art is Minted. I was drawn to the beach-y prints and fell in love with this one for over our bar cart and this one that I’ve had fun moving around. Minted is about to kick off a spring sale offering 15% off sitewide from April 19 – 25!

I’m excited to share some more details from our house, I first showed a glimpse shortly after we first moved in. It seems like even though it’s been over six months since we moved, we’re still doing projects and getting settled. We recently made over our patio and I’ll share those details soon. The uber coveted Threshold bar cart has returned to Target. I have this bar cart in my home (seen here) and get so many compliments on it. Last time it was in stores it pretty much flew off shelves and I’m sure it will again! Bonus? If you order it online it comes in a huge box already assembled – and you don’t have to worry about it fitting in your car.
As our house comes together more I’ll share more pictures. But for now, here’s a sneak peak at some details that have fallen into place.
