Maybe it’s my busy schedule talking, but all I want right now is to wear a comfortable outfit that still looks chic. I always find it easier to get out of bed when I have a fab outfit lined up… and bonus points for comfort. I put together this “off duty” look that would be perfect for casual Friday at a relaxed dress code job, weekend errands or whatever your heart desires! I think this look would be even more fab topped with a beanie and with a dash of red lipstick. So tell me, does this outfit fit in with your weekend plans? Sadly I’ll be working again so it doesn’t with mine.
I don’t know what it is but this winter I’ve really been loving beanies. They can be basic or have a pom pom ball on top… it doesn’t matter, I’m smitten! I think what I like most about them is how effortless and cool they make an outfit look. In other news, I got these leopard booties for Christmas and have been living in them. They’re fun, comfortable and just seem to go with everything. I love how fun, bold accessories make an otherwise low key outfit interesting.
Even though I live in Southern California I love wearing coats when I’m cold (when it’s below 65). This bright pink colorblocked number was a recent find that will go with so many things even though its so bold. I can’t wait to pair it with an LBD or a blush dress. I went with a nautical-ish look here and added a beanie… my fav (at the moment) accessory.
I’ve been kind of obsessing over fun pants lately, first with this leopard pair last week and now these sparkly jogger-esque pair. I actually bought them last year and have gotten a lot of use out of them for two holiday seasons. They’re so comfortable which is perfect for indulging at a party when you want a third helping of baked brie (or maybe that’s just me). Another amazing thing about sparkle pants is the versatility which kinda sounds ridiculous, but I swear they are pants you can wear anywhere. I like wearing them to work with a chambray shirt and booties just as much as dressing them up.
