When we were in Palm Springs I didn't wear makeup or do my hair once. It was so nice. We took these pictures after a full day outside. I threw on my friend Ashley's hat to cover my wet (from the pool) hair. This bikini is probably my new favorite. First of all the color is amazing, it's a bright/deep fuchsia that is perfect for summer. I also love the smocked off the shoulder top. It's so different from most of my bikini tops.
Now that we're in July it really feels like summer is in full swing around here. I recently got a bunch of new swimsuits and am so excited to live in them all season long. This turquoise lace cover up tunic is so cute over it's matching turquoise bikini. I felt slightly 60's fab in this sheer lace tunic which was perfect for our location.
Back in the day (high school) my goal was to be as tan and blonde as possible. The contrast between the color of my hair and skin in the summer was laughable… and not natural at all. My friends and I would slather ourselves in tanning oil before going to the beach. There we’d bake in the sun all day, rinse and repeat.
