Another bump look 🙂 These pictures are pretty funny, we took them about 24 hours before I went into labor after a weekend of relaxing and lots of walking. I had no idea I’d have the baby that early and still thought I had at least a week if not more to go.
Have you shopped the Shopbop sale yet? I’m trying to show some restraint but the deals are SO GOOD it’s really hard. I wanted to share a few favorites from the sale that I have in my closet and wear a ton!
This top has taken me all through my pregnancy. I wore it back before I was showing, then in the awkward in between phase and now at almost 37 weeks pregnant and it’s still super flattering.
I always think of August as a transitional month as it’s the last full month of summer. But now instead of back-to-school shopping, I’m pulling out early fall pieces for the next month or so. This denim jacket is something that never really leaves my closet, no matter what season. Even though it’s still warm here I usually bring it with me because I’m always cold.
OK – so my prom was a long time ago. I mean, even my high school reunion was a few years ago, if that tells you anything. But I was still excited with Boohoo reached out and asked if I wanted to style one of their prom dresses. I took it as another shot at prom and chose this pretty powder blue dressthat made me feel like Cinderella. They have an amazing selection of formal dresses perfect for prom, or whatever else you’re looking for. These days my calendar is full of weddings which are kind of like adult proms, right?
I actually don’t cringe when I see my senior prom pics. Sometimes I even joke that Eva Mendes stole my prom look for the 2010 Golden Globes. 😉 I wore a simple white strapless dress with an asymmetrical hem and turquoise jewelry. I remember when I chose it how different it felt than my other formal dance looks, it was timeless!
Two piece sets are the gift that keeps giving. You get two outfits in one! This one is especially cool because I have a weakness for blue and white stripes. I was organizing my closet last weekend and realized I have like 6 blue and white striped button downs. All different, of course. I mean, if loving blue and white stripes is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.
Because this top is a longer crop top it will mix well with so many things! I can already see myself wearing it with white shortsto the beach and maybe with some high-waited flaresto work. If I can do at least two different looks with the top and two with the skirt – I can get five outfits out of this set. Money well spent.
I have a serious collection of striped shirts. They’re so classic and versatile and I get so much wear out of them. This one is new, under $20 and I’m already imagining wearing it to the beach in the summer over bikinis and cutoffs. I kept it seasonally appropriate here with my favorite faux fur vest and flares.
But let’s talk about the vest for a minute. It’s a piece I always add to my outfit last-minute when I want to feel extra cozy. It feels like a blanket and I find myself wearing it over my PJ’s around the house too.Â
