Happy Thursday! I’m coming to you today from the couch with a kid who’s home not feeling good so we’re taking it a little slower and watching a little more tv than normal. It’s cold and gloomy outside so at least we’re not missing much. I can’t believe we’re heading into April next week… if only our weather would fully get on board with spring. I’ve been craving all things rainbow and pastel lately and pulled together my recent favorite spring finds.

I’m not really a maxi dress person. I realize how lame that sounds next to pictures of me wearing one, but they’re really tricky on my body! I’m not that tall and can get a little lost in clothing where too much fabric is involved. I’ve always been envious of my taller friends who can wear the trend without worry. However, once in awhile I try on one that works… like this blue and white number.

This is the perfect dress for the dog days of summer when you want to wear as little as possible and still look pulled together. It’s super light weight and breezy… as you can see by the way the wind carried it in these photos.

Summer is calling my name! Actually that’s my honeymoon. To prep I’m pulling together all my favorite resort wear pieces. Thinking about packing for 10 days on a beach vacation is making me feel like a resort wear hoarder, and I’m not mad about it.

This crochet dress is the perfect piece to take you from the beach to a restaurant without having to change. It is a bit baggier than I usually go for but it’s loose enough to be comfortable all day! And to be honest, after five months of clean eating I will need the extra room for all the chips and guac I’ll be scarfing down. The countdown is on.
