Ever worn a crop top to a carnival? Me either. Spoiler alert: I wasn’t actually going to a carnival here, I just made Jeff pull over and shoot the look. Unfortunately the carnival wasn’t open yet. I love a good onesie. In the spring in summer, they’re basically all I want to wear. If only I felt the same each time I had to use the bathroom while wearing one… #sorrynotsorry

I digress.

This one is close to perfection. I’m obsessed with the kimono-like sleeves and floral print. I wore it last weekend and felt festival-fab without having to be at an actual music festival. Instead we celebrated my best friend Shelby’s birthday in our backyard and called it CoShella.

Also, I’ve basically been wearing this bag on repeat since I got it a few months ago. But oddly enough I think it’s the first time it’s made an appearance on the blog!

This pineapple set might be my favorite buy of 2015 so far. I wore it together here, but am loving mixing it up too. I was #Nochella this weekend but if I had gone to the festival I would have worn something like this. Are you going to a music festival this year? Here are the three things I’d be sure to pack…

A wide brim panama hat. I absolutely love panama hats, this one from Hat Attack will be a fixture on my head this summer. Wide brim hats are super flattering and keep the sun off your face while still looking chic.

A cross body bag. Nothing is worse than trying to juggle your belongings in a clutch or something while texting your friends, holding a drink or just walking around the venue. Trust.

Closed toe shoes. Okay, I’m totally wearing sandals here but I wasn’t at Coachella. I know it’s tempting to wear sandals but think off the dirty fields you’re running around in. After a few hours you end up with filthy feet and become the party pooper. Stick with booties, trust me.

Resort wear is probably my favorite thing to buy. I have more bikinis than I can count but always love adding new ones into the mix each season. And this year is extra special, I’m celebrating the last days of my single life at my bachelorette party in the desert in a few weeks and then we have our 10 day tropical honeymoon in June!

I’m so excited that I’ve been buying up every cute coverup, sun hat and bikini (mostly in white), but I’m still looking for a few more. You can never go wrong with tassels on anything, a bright bikini or a good pair of ray bans. But that’s just my theory.

It’s also festival season – aka the perfect excuse to release your inner boho princess and indulge in some fun resort wear. Shop more of my favorites below.

Flower crowns have been all the rage for a few years now. They add a touch of whimsy and bohemian to any look and are basically mandatory at Coachella. I also love them for wedding events like a bridal shower or bachelorette party. They’re a great alternative to the veils lots of girls wear to their parties and are more fun to wear. So try to act surprised when you see pictures of me wearing them to my events in the next few months, okay? 🙂

I’m a big fan of rompers and crochet so when I spotted this one at Urban Outfitters it was a no brainer. I piled on my straw fedora, denim jacket and open toe booties for a fun festival fashion-esque look.

I don’t know about you, but the last place I want to be this April is Coachella – too much dirt, sweat and ridiculous for me. But Palm Springs is my happy place and I’ll be celebrating there a few weeks later for my Bachelorette Party and can’t wait to rock this romper. It doubles as the perfect bathing suit cover up that you can take from the pool to the bar without batting an eye. In my world that makes it the best purchase ever.
