My favorite department from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is always the shoes! I’m a totally shoe hoarder, so that’s really no surprise. I thought I’d break the shoes into three categories: booties, flats and sneakers. All the best everyday shoes!
Happy Thursday! Today I’m sharing another amazing budget friendly dress. This one is also under $20, can you believe it? The quality is great and it’s super soft. I’ve really been loving these finds at the end of my pregnancy and think I’ll be wearing this one after too (it’s not maternity).
This Monday came a little too soon for my liking. We had another productive weekend doing things around the house and I’m excited to be that much closer to having everything DONE.
This LBD is a bit different from what I’d normally pull, but I’m loving it’s casual easy-breezy vibe. I’m not gonna lie, a drop-waist kind of intimidated me at first. I’m 5’4″ with a long torso and short legs and I thought it would just draw attention to that. Instead of taking the easy way out and pairing it with high heels, I decided to do the opposite and wear flats. I think it’s safe to say I concurred my drop-waist fear. Bring it on!
A sizing note… I love how Banana Republic gives you “Regular,” “Tall” and “Petite” options. I went with Petite and the length was perfect. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re under 5’5″.
Hope you have a great Monday – thanks for reading!

It’s safe to say we already know what the shoe of the fall season will be, the pointed toe lace up flats. They have been everywhere lately and aren’t going away any time soon. I first spotted a blush pair from M. Gemi, unfortunately they’re selling out so fast that I keep missing them. Luckily there are so many pairs that are just as amazing, I just bought this red pair and am thinking I need a leopard pair too. Which is your favorite?

I know we’re still a little over a week away from Thanksgiving, but the
next month rest of the year is going to go by in the blink of an eye. I’m trying to keep track of everything and get all my shopping done (gift guide #1 and #2). Aside from gifts another thing to think about is what to wear to all the parties that fill up our weekends between now and New Years. Here’s my new little guide with three easy outfits that will cover all your bases.
When it comes to the office party I like to be festive but still conservative. A long sleeve dress with a fun embellishment is perfect for that. Swap your stilettos for a comfortable but still trendy pair of booties and you’re set.
Family parties are all about comfort. A festive sweater and pants are perfect for relaxing and overeating. Sequin joggers are my pick for this look, I have a pair I love wearing during the holidays (seen here and here).
When you’re celebrating with your friends you can go anyway you choose. My fav look is a long sleeve romper in a bold color. This red one is perfect for the season especially when you add gold accessories.
