Our new house has a pretty large outdoor patio that I can’t wait to start using! Currently it’s housing our belongings that haven’t found a place in our home as well as some that need to make their way to a storage unit. In the meantime I’m lusting after fun, colorful chairs like these Acapulco style chairs from CB2.

I know I’m not alone when I say the whole moving process is exhausting. Now that we’re over all the major hurdles we’re dealing with settling in and figuring out storage options. One thing I’m pretty excited about is the “cloffice” (closet + office). I have been waiting for a room like this for a long time and I can’t wait to get everything in! Currently it’s filled with boxes and rows of shoes but soon it will hopefully resemble the images below. Obviously it will house a desk, but also bookshelves like these for shoes… and books. I will be sharing more as we go.

I have been obsessing over bar carts for a couple of years now. Last year I purchased one identical to this one on amazon. Since I’m moving to a bigger place I decided it was time for a bigger bar cart and am upgrading to this one from Target. I just ordered it and had to share because it’s on major sale. Originally $129, marked down to $116 with an additional 15% off. Too good!

ps – I have plans to keep my old bar cart and put it in the guest room as a night stand. I’ll keep you posted!

I can’t get these mid-century modern Eames chair replicas out of my mind. I love them for dining chairs and am determined to use them in my new space.

Although I love color, (my current dining chairs are lavender) this time I’m leaning towards the white. What color is your favorite?

Welcome to my home! I’ve had so much fun decorating and adding personal touches on my condo over the two years I’ve lived here. I feel like the space is a really great example of my personality – which is exactly what I was going for. Although I know I won’t live here forever, I’ve really enjoyed  putting my own stamp on it and making it my own. Not pictured is my kitchen, but you can view some pictures of it here.
