I’ve been all about Aquazzura’s “Wild Thing” sandals for a long time now. I mean, look at them – tassels and fringe – would wouldn’t be? My issue is I don’t want to spend $800 on a super trendy shoe. Recently I’ve found several dupes for SO MUCH less!

I did a huge closet clean out last weekend and I finally feel like I have room for some new additions – like this sweatshirt, the perfect Winesday piece. I’m feeling like this fall’s motto is “Just Add Fringe” and I’m not mad about it. These shoes, pants and cardigan definitely fit into that theme. 🙂

Since the official start of fall is right around the corner it’s finally time to start changing things up. I can’t quite go full on fall everything just yet but I am leaning towards trends that are more appropriate for the season.

My favs?

• Skirts – specifically button front skirts but I’m partial to all lately.
• Plaid tops that aren’t your basic plaid shirt.
• Dresses with warm autumn colors.

The sale of the season at Nordstrom is wrapping up, prices go back up this Sunday, August 2nd. It’s the perfect time to pull the trigger on what you’ve been eying the last few weeks. While running an errand at Nordstrom last week I kept drifting into the Topshop department and drooling over everything. I hadn’t checked out that section lately and just loved so many things. When I got home I continued to browse online and put together a collection of everything I loved. There’s something so perfectly summery about a navy and white striped bikini and anything pineapple is such a win right now.

While I’d rather eat a limb than actually attend Coachella, or most music festivals, (crowds, sweaty annoying people, dirty feet…) I really enjoy seeing pictures of the fest-goers fashion. I mean, we all know it’s a glorified fashion show. The fringe, skin and boho-fabness that goes off out there might be too much for everyday wear but it manages to look picture perfect with a desert backdrop and a random person passed out in the lower left corner of the frame.
