Nine months! As much time out in the world as Wilder was in the womb (roughly). I am in disbelief that my baby will be one in just three short months. It's happening though, and there's nothing I can do to stop it. We're already seeing the bittersweet signs of him starting the transition from baby to toddler. The other day we had to adjust his crib mattress all the way the lowest position.
Wilder is four months old as of Saturday which means we still have eight months of eating a large pizza every month, sorry Jeff! I actually found the pizza idea on Pinterest when I was pregnant and thought it would be a cute way to document his monthly photos. So far it’s been really fun to see how much bigger he’s getting in the pizza box… I have a feeling it’s going to get a lot more challenging to photograph him in it as he gets more mobile.
Speaking of, last week he started rolling from his back to front. He’s been rolling from front to back since he was one month old, so now he can fully roll. I’ll put him on his play mat and the next thing I know he’s rolling all over the place. I can’t remember when Crosby started doing this but I feel like it was around the same time.continue reading
Last week we took our first trip as a family of four. I'm still exhausted and think I need a vacation to recover. 😉 I got so many questions about traveling with two kids. I am by no means an expert, but there were a few things that were very helpful. I want to share my must haves when traveling with a toddler and an infant.
One of the questions I've been asked the most lately is where I find Wilder's clothes. The answer is literally everywhere! I did this post a few months ago about my favorite places to buy clothes for baby boys, but thought I should update it with more favs.
I'm not even sure if I've blinked and Wilder is already one month old. Everyone warns you how much quicker it goes by the second time but I still wasn't prepared. It's been a beautiful whirlwind and we're all loving being a family of four.
One of the "baby gear" questions I'm asked the most is about strollers... which strollers we have and which ones we like. We're lucky enough to have 4 strollers. It may seem like a lot, but I swear they all serve a different purpose. Today I want to do a review of the 4 we have.
