In the second installment of my “Favorite Friday”, I thought I’d jump over to the east coast and the fab blog Girl Avant Garde. This blog chronicles Courtney’s style as she goes to law school and trots around Manhattan, but also shows off her skills in the kitchen and some fun DIY’s. When and why did you start blogging?
June 2012. I needed a creative outlet and a way to express my interests outside of school.

The other day I had a fun assignment, I went to the Glamhouse showroom on Melrose to interview Kristin Cavallari and preview her jewelry line, GLAMboutique. Kristin partnered with founder Pascal Mouwad to create this fun line of wearable pieces that seriously go with everything.
Kristin looked amazing for having a baby just six months ago. So I asked her about it. She said she eats really clean and does cardio four days a week for 20 minutes at a time, then hits the weights. I hope I look like that six months postpartum!
Just in time for the season three premiere, last week I sat down with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Lisa Vanderpump. I met Lisa at her restaurant, Villa Blanca, to chat about her party planning book, RHBH and her new reality show based on her West Hollywood restaurant, Sur Lounge.
Lisa is a busy lady! Between her two restaurants and two reality shows she’s also launched a lifestyle blog Divine Addiction.
