It’s the longest day of the year… happy first day of summer! It’s already felt like summer weather-wise but I’m excited that it’s officially here. Also, let me apologize for the coloring on these photos, I’m not sure what happened but I’m just gonna roll with it and post them anyway.

If this print looks familiar it’s because I wore the bomber jacket version just a couple weeks back! It’s so light and airy for spring, I couldn’t help but get it in both pieces. This slip dress is so comfortable and easy to dress up or down. I wore it to a brunch a few weeks ago with wedges and a denim jacket but you could also wear it with heels for something fancier. I’ve even belted it for a more fitted look. Love versatile pieces like this.

This week Crosby and I hit a huge milestone… we had our first outing alone! We just went to the drive through ATM and Target but now we are feeling confident to head out on more errands just the two of us. One thing that made our trip out of the house a little easier was the carseat. We were so excited to test out the Cybex Cloud Q! We got it in Moon Dust, this pretty neutral gray color, but there are so many other fun color options! This carseat is so sleek and easy to load in and out of the car. One thing I’m excited about now that I have a baby is building my biceps by lifting all the baby gear. Seriously, I can feel them growing each time I lift her or any of her baby things.

I really missed wearing rompers when I was pregnant and I’m so happy to be able to wear them again… now that we’re getting into summer. This gingham one was too cute to pass up and it’s currently on sale for under $35! Gingham is so trendy right now but I love it for summer… I might wear it wine tasting next weekend.
