I’m trying to get creative with my “fall” looks because it’s still SO HOT here. I really wanted to wear this tunicwith jeans, but we shot these pictures on probably the hottest day of the year so jeans were out. Luckily I pulled out my favorite booties and a purse I haven’t used in awhile and forgot about our lack of seasons.
I swear it was Friday like 5 minutes ago… how is it already Monday?! Hope you had a great weekend. Our weather was amazing… 75 and sunny both days so we took advantage and stayed outside as much as possible. We even watched the Super Bowl in our backyard. It’s been awhile since I did an instagramoutfit roundup, so I figured it was time for an update. Remember you can always shop these looks from instagram if you sign up with LiketoKnow.it.
I’ve had this skirt sitting in my closet for at least a month… I’ve been dying to wear it just haven’t had a reason to break it out. I decided to throw it on before we went to breakfast on Christmas Eve. Sure it was in the 50’s and totally not practical, but who cares? I added this faux fur vest for warmth and pretended to be warm even though I had goosebumps like crazy on my legs.
This sweateris a great winter piece. It’s warm and cozy and the best color when you want to take a break from your darker winter things. It’s warm but light enough to layer under coats without that bulky feeling.continue reading
A few weeks ago we got a little burst of warm weather and I broke out this new swan dressfor a Friendsgiving get together. Even though it was warm in the day I knew we’d be outside I brought this coat along thinking I’d throw it on when it got cold. Can you believe it never got cold enough for it? Outside in the middle of November. One of the many reasons I love California.
I rarely pick favorites but this was probably my favorite look from last month. Sometimes mixed prints end up looking like a mess and sometimes they just work. I may be crazy for pairing swans with leopard and a color blocked coat and then standing in front of this busy mural, but I’m loving it.continue reading
There are certain walls in LA that are kind of famous in the blogger community. This polka dot pretty is one of them. We spent Saturday night at The Roosevelt Hotel so on the way home I made Jeff take a detour through downtown for this shoot.
One trend I’m obsessing over this season is the long vest. They’re really so versatile. This one is really affordable and perfect for layering. I’ve been styling my sleeveless trench over dresses and shorts for a few months and am excited to add this black one into the mix.continue reading
I just got back from a quick weekend trip to Arizona where we spent time with family and went trick or treating with my cute nieces. I wanted to pack this new dress because the print and style seem so boho desert to me, especially when I paired it with a felt hat and ankle boots.
Don’t forget, if you’re in the OC area next Saturday, I’ll be speaking on a panel at StyleConat 2:30 pm. I’m so excited to be part of this amazing day of all things fashion and beauty.
