This only happens a couple times a year and it’s so good. I’m not the best at planning for these things… for instance I bought a new pair of sunglasses last week BEFORE this wonderful sale. This top from Wildfox was too good to pass up for Halloween! Paired with cat eye sunnies and leopard pumps, it’s a subtle but cute costume you could easily wear to work or a party. I plan on wearing it when I see my nieces tomorrow night with my leopard print vans and cat ears as my easy costume.

I received a box of Tart Collections goodies a few weeks ago and this skirt was one of the first things that caught my eye. I always love a neutral skirt, but paired with a chambray shirt tied around my waist added a 90’s cool vibe. I played up the neutral with my other favorite, leopard and was ready for a night out. Side note: super bummed these Sole Society booties sold out last year but I found a really similar Dolce Vita pair that I just might need.

We had about one day of weather below 85 degrees and I decided to prematurely break out some fall favs. I’ll admit now the felt hat and booties were a bit too aggressive for late summer and I won’t be making that mistake again! I’m not really sure why I’m trying to wish away my favorite season… Oh yes I am, we live in an old house by the beach that doesn’t have AC!
Anyway, while I was warm in this pre-fall getup I did get excited to wear these leopard booties again. Unfortunately they’re sold out, but Sam Edelman still has them in a variety of other colors – they’re the “Petty” and are really the perfect neutral bootie. Plus the leopard seem to always make their way back in stock once the temperatures drop.
Even though it’s still hot and humid here I’m moving towards incorporating more fall into my wardrobe. It’s always easy to start with a little leopard, a darker nail color or a slouchy blazer. Here are other pieces I’m craving alongside cooler weather.
