I really missed wearing rompers when I was pregnant and I’m so happy to be able to wear them again… now that we’re getting into summer. This gingham one was too cute to pass up and it’s currently on sale for under $35! Gingham is so trendy right now but I love it for summer… I might wear it wine tasting next weekend.
Last month I debuted this white cape on the blog and I can’t seem to stop wearing it. Before I buy something new I try to think of multiple ways to style it, that way I know I’m getting my moneys worth. This one is easy… treat it like a blazer (with a kick) and you pair it over just about anything. For the next few weeks I’ll be sharing more ways to style the cape.
Because it can be scary to buy into a trend when you don’t know how long you’ll love it, I’ve broken down more affordable options below.

You’re probably thinking I’m crazy for wearing cutoff shorts and sandals in November, right? We were in Arizona last weekend and it was pretty warm. I brought shorts “just in case” and ended up wearing them during the day Saturday. That always seems to happen… perks of an over-packer. Anyway, I got this top (it’s really a dress) at the end of the summer and hadn’t gotten a chance to wear it so when the forecast called for 80 degrees, out it came!
To make up for my crazy, not-appropriate-for-the-season, outfit, I’m sharing my picks from the Nordstrom clearance sale at the bottom of the post. Happy shopping!

Happy Monday! It’s finally starting to feel a little more like fall around here and I’m brining out a new favorite. This sweater from Club Monaco has a fun leather collar that I can’t get enough of. I wore this to a friend’s Birthday brunch recently and one of my friends said I reminded her of Cher in Clueless.
I’m loving collared sweaters because they can make the most casual outfit look polished. I’m already wanting to add more to my fall and winter wardrobe.

I received a box of Tart Collections goodies a few weeks ago and this skirt was one of the first things that caught my eye. I always love a neutral skirt, but paired with a chambray shirt tied around my waist added a 90’s cool vibe. I played up the neutral with my other favorite, leopard and was ready for a night out. Side note: super bummed these Sole Society booties sold out last year but I found a really similar Dolce Vita pair that I just might need.
