A few weeks ago it was cold and cloudy and even rained once or twice. I was going a little stir crazy after being inside with a baby all week so we decided to head out on an adventure. We drove up the coast a ways and discovered some nearby beach towns we’d never really visited before. And even though it was cold and felt like our one week of winter, it was such a fun day.
White jeans are a staple for me all year round but I really missed wearing them while I was pregnant. I never found a good pair of white maternity jeans so I had to put them on hold for a few months. One of my favorite things to pair them with is anything chambray. This cold shoulder top is such a good piece for spring and summer. It’s darker wash makes it easy to pair with so many different things and it’s light and effortless.
It has really been the summer of off the shoulder everything and I’m fully embracing it. This dress is light, chic check out the price! I wore it to an outdoor Birthday party over the weekend and stayed cool. Sometimes that’s hard to do in August. It can be hard to justify spending money on clothes this late in the season, but when they’re priced this well they’re way worth it. I don’t know about you but I’ve been pretty sick of all my summer clothes and this dress was the perfect excuse to change it up.
Less than one week until spring’s official start but that’s not stopping me from bringing out some pieces a little early. I think this top will be perfect in the spring and summer with white shorts. There’s something about nautical stripes that I can’t pass up… well, any stripes really!
I don’t know about you, but the time change this year is really hitting me. Luckily this hatand aviators are helping me look and feel like I got enough sleep. Time to double up on Nespresso!
Last year Jeff and I got each other fitbits and loved competing in weekly challenges to see who could get more steps in. I loved my tracking my activity on it and wore it so much leading up to the wedding. I have the pictures to prove it… seriously! It stuck out like a sore thumb on my wrist and it’s funny to look back and see. A few months ago a friend introduced me to Bezels & Bytes, the makers of chic jewelry that are designed to camouflage fitbits!
I’ve been wearing their rose gold cuffand totally forgetting my fitbit is tucked away inside.
Happy Friday! I hope you had an amazing second week of the year! Things have been really busy at work with the Golden Globes and other award show prep and I’m looking forward to a weekend of relaxing. Well, as relaxing as it can get in the midst of a remodel. But I can’t complain! I wanted to share a round up of some of my recent posts on instagram.
I’ve been posting more and more on there with liketoknow.it. In case you’re not familiar, if you sign up with them once you get emails sent directly to your inbox with product links from pictures you “like” on instagram. It’s so easy and one of my favorite tools!
