If you've been following me since I had Crosby it's probably obvious that Freshly Picked moccasins are my favorite shoes for her. She's been wearing them since she could fit into their newborn sized moccs and hasn't stopped. They were the only shoes that would actually stay on her feet when she was a baby... even socks would fall off! Now that's she's bigger, she can even fit into their sneakers, sandals and mini sole moccs. We love them all!
Life with Crosby is non-stop fun, but also just non-stop. The girl has so much energy and doesn’t know how to sit still. She definitely keeps me on my toes. But as far as I’ve heard she seems to be a pretty easy-going baby. She’s a great sleeper, rarely cries, loves to play by herself and interact with us. Sounds pretty great, right? When I think back to how I packed my hospital bag for Crosby’s birth 7 months ago, I laugh. I actually planned to shoot a post on what I packed the day she was born (she was a week and a half early). I did so much research, seriously I think I read every Pinterest post on the best things to pack. So when it came time I thought I was set. The first few weeks with a newborn are rough and nothing can really prepare you for it. When I was pregnant everyone told me to get all the sleep I could because once the baby arrived I’d be a zombie. And I did because I never had a problem sleeping or got to an uncomfortable stage in my pregnancy – I was lucky. However, once Crosby arrived I turned into that sleep deprived zombie everyone warned me about. It was hard to see it as temporary and imagine life on the other side.
