5 Ways to Wear – Free People Pullover

Last week I styled my off white Free People pullover from my monthly staples five different ways. I’ve had this sweater for over a month now and have worn it tons of ways already. I’m a sucker for a neutral and this one really goes with everything. I’ve worn it with black, white and blue jeans, leggings and joggers and even my favorite cut off shorts in our January heatwave. It’s super comfortable for everything. If you’re not into the cream, it’s available in several other colors as well. Take a look at five ways I wore it last week.

5 Ways to Wear – Tan Shacket

This week I’m highlighting the tan shacket in my staple series and I’m styling it five ways. Well, technically six if you count the pic above from when I first tried it on. This is such a versatile piece that I know I will continue to wear so many different ways. It’s not super heavy duty and more of a layer than an actual jacket, but it works for Southern California winter and could be made warmer with a thicker sweater worn under. Sizing note, it has a comfy oversized fit. If you want it to be more fitted I would suggest sizing down. I went with my normal size and it is definitely on the bigger side, but it’s super comfy to layer.

January Top 5

February Wardrobe Staples


Happy February! We made it through January, which arguably always feels like the longest month of the year. I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for warmer weather. I know I live in Southern California and can’t really complain too much about a frigid winter, but spring sounds really nice right now. Keeping two toddlers inside when it’s rainy/cold/windy is not an easy job. My hat goes off to everyone who has to do it in colder climates. Anyway, today I’m sharing February’s wardrobe staples.

10 Lounge Wear Sets I Love

My clothing purchases over the last 10+ months have heavily leaned toward comfort and practicality. I’ve bought a lot less fancy things like dresses, heels and accessories and a lot more wardrobe basics and loungewear. 2020 Top 5

Usually January drags on – after the busy holiday season it just seems endless, but this year it doesn’t seem that slow. I’m thinking that’s because life has pretty much been the same for the past 10 months. This fall the “shacket” has taken over. Are you familiar with shackets? They’re basically oversized shirt jackets that give off an effortlessly cool vibe. Shirt + Jacket = Shacket. I’ve been on the hunt for a neutral plaid one for awhile now and finally came across this one last week. I purchased it and shared three ways to wear it on instagram, but it sold out so fast.
