Happy almost New Year! We’ve decided to have a very low-key NYE… pj’s, pizza making, probably watching “When Harry Met Sally” and going to sleep before midnight #pregnantproblems and honestly I couldn’t be happier about it. Hope you have something fun planned whether it’s a dressy night out or a just staying home. I wanted to end the year with one last Instagram recap of the month.
I feel like sequins are mandatory around the holidays – or at least more mainstream than the rest of the year. I’ve had a pair of sequin sweat pants for a few years now that I love to break out this time of year. There’s something so festive about them… even if I’m just wearing them on my couch with slippers.
In college and the years that followed my friends and I would go all out for New Years Eve. We’d dress up and usually spend the night celebrating with take out and plenty of champagne at someone’s house, it was much easier than dealing with crowded restaurants, clubs and cabs (the days before uber).
Crazy that today is the last Monday of the year. To kick off New Years Eve I’m dressing up a little early. I’ve been obsessed with onesies this year so it’s only fitting to wear one to ring in the new year. I love the gold sequin details and cutouts on this one and can see myself wearing it in the spring and summer. Not to mention I’ve been collecting white dresses and rompers to wear in the upcoming months of wedding prep.

With Christmas only two days away, I know I’m not alone when I say that 2014 was the quickest year of my life! I’ve already started thinking about New Years Eve and while I don’t have plans yet I’m trying to decide on a dress. I automatically think sparkle when it comes to NYE but there are really so many other fun options. What about you, do you have NYE plans? What are you wearing?!
