I used to be afraid to wear midi dresses because my legs are on the shorter side. I’m so glad I changed my mind a few years ago! Now I love them and think they’re so practical and versatile. I mean depending on the accessories, I could wear this LBD anywhere from work to a cocktail party.

Happy Friday! Coming off a vacation and going back to work is never easy, even when it’s just a quick weekend getaway. But we made it to the weekend and I’m excited for a couple days with nothing on the schedule. I took a bunch of pictures in Palm Springs and wanted to share. It’s one of my favorite places to relax so I usually only pack the basics. Coverups and cutoffs were pretty much on repeat all weekend.

I actually received a few new coverups towards the end of the summer and never got a chance to wear them. This red tasseled one from Eberjey is so soft and perfect for pool side lounging and I’m just as obsessed with this embroidered one from Chicwish.

I’m really into peplum tanks right now, I also have this one  (see how I wore it here) and love how flattering they are. I’m about 17 weeks and don’t quite have a bump yet, but the ruffle helps disguise the mini bump that can be confused for too much pizza. I’m loving olive for fall and wore this tank over the weekend in the desert. It was almost 100 degrees so while I was still in summer clothes I felt a little more seasonal at least in my color pallet.
