Merry Christmas Eve! I’ve had high hopes of being really productive this week but something about having time off when it’s cold (and the holidays) makes me want to stay in my PJ’s all day! We went to a pajama cookie exchange party Monday and are going to another PJ party on New Years Eve, so I clearly have sleepwear on the brain. I’ve found so many cute sets to share if you’re craving cozy wear too.

The weeks are really flying by now and we’re in total holiday crunch. Because I’ve been such a slacker this year, I’m really paying for it now and trying to get everyone checked off my list. Happy hump day! I read the other day that there just seven more Mondays until Christmas – isn’t that crazy?! We are finally experiencing some chilly fall weather and it has me craving all things cozy. Plus we’re moving soon and I’m starting to pull pieces for our new home.

These are my favorite slippers, I got a pair last year and have worn them to the ground. I always love comfy jackets and this one is so cute. Like I mentioned, we’re on the verge of moving and all I want to do is curl up with this throw and dream of this Sputnik Chandelier.

Maybe it’s my busy schedule talking, but all I want right now is to wear a comfortable outfit that still looks chic. I always find it easier to get out of bed when I have a fab outfit lined up… and bonus points for comfort. I put together this “off duty” look that would be perfect for casual Friday at a relaxed dress code job, weekend errands or whatever your heart desires! I think this look would be even more fab topped with a beanie and with a dash of red lipstick. So tell me, does this outfit fit in with your weekend plans? Sadly I’ll be working again so it doesn’t with mine.

Happy 2014 everyone! I hope you had a fun night and you get to enjoy another day off. I always love reading lists of Oprah’s other people’s favorite things so I decided to put together the top five things I discovered in 2013. All of these items were new to me this year but are now tired and true favorites I won’t be giving up for a loooong time.

Remember this post I did about my Corner’s 4 iphone accessory? Every time I pull out my phone in public I get asked what’s on my phone by someone. I’ve since switched from pink to gold and not only are they fun and unique but they really protect your phone! I’ve dropped mine a few times… once really hard face down on cement and it always escapes injury free.

I received a set of these pajamas for Christmas from my parents this year. They are the most comfortable pj’s I’ve ever worn which was great for being lazy around the holidays, but might not bode well for waking up early for work. Nevertheless, I’ve worn them just about every night since Christmas. What makes them even more special is my mom had them monogramed with my initials. Who can resist monogramed pj’s?!

When I’m home I always have a candle burning. Earlier this year I picked up Voluspa “Laguna”. I am now addicted to the scent. They don’t burn out as quickly as some other candles and the scent is amazing all year round.

Back in April I re-discovered the skort. The 90’s trend came back and I bought the Zara version in three colors and wore the life out of them (seen here, here, here, here, here, here and here) for months. Every once in a while, when the weather’s warm, I throw one on and still love them. I know I’ll be wearing more in 2014.

After wanting one for a long time I finally got a Clarisonic for my Birthday in June. I do not know how I lived without it! My skin feels healthier and softer than ever and I have to fight the urge not to use it more than the recommended three times per week.
