When there’s a heatwave in the summer, the only place I want to be is in a body of water. Or next to one with an ice cold glass of rosé (side note, has anyone tried frozé yet??). Or even better yet, combine the two and hop on a floatie.
Sometimes you just need a tan instantly. Like on a Saturday when the weather is perfect and you’re invited to a spontaneous pool party. Luckily, there are a few things that make that a little easier: a cute swimsuit and Jergens® Natural Glow® Instant Sun® Sunless Tanning Mousse. It works with your skin tone to instantly deliver flawless, natural-looking color that mimics results from the sun; allows for precise even application that dries in 60 seconds. Basically fool proof, right?! Such a win for swimsuit season.continue reading
We’re still in the middle of our house renovation and I’m in total nesting mode. I can’t wait for everything to be done and for us to be settled into the space. We’re starting to purchase some of the things we need and I’m making constant wish lists of everything else.
I read somewhere that art is the jewelry of the home and I loved that. I’m hoping to add a few pieces to our collection. I’ve had my eye on this Gray Malin print for too long now. Another big purchase that I think is also like jewelry is a sputnik chandelier. I have my eye on this one right now for our dining room.
I’m exciting to start sharing pieces of our wedding with you all! First up I wanted to tackle stationary; invitations, place cards, etc. They’re such an important part of the big day and there are countless options. It can really be overwhelming.
Minted is one of my favorite resources if you’re looking for templates where you can still add personal touches. I ordered our escort and place cards from them and loved them. I scoured the site for wedding invites and loved several of the templates but ended up going a different way when it came time to make the decision.continue reading
Last month my two best friends, mom, future mother-in-law and a couple other friends all helped through a bridal shower for me. It was my first shower and every detail was perfect. They all know me so well and got so creative with the pineapple and flamingo theme. I wish I’d taken more pictures but I was too mesmerized by all their touches.
The pineapple looking appetizer up there? It was a delicious goat cheese dip garnished with pecans and a real pineapple top. The cake tasted as good as it looked, which is saying a lot because I’m not really a cake person. Seriously… my wedding cake has a lot to live up to.continue reading
If you’re anything like me you avoid stores and malls at all costs on the weekends… such amateur hour. To fill the shopping void I spend countless time browsing online and end up with little collages. This top is currently on it’s way to me. I’m such a sucker for a pineapple, I’m even incorporating them into my wedding theme and I’ll be ordering these ASAP! I just can’t pass up a trinket or a piece of clothing pineapple related in ANY way.continue reading
