Happy Monday! Today is the first day in over seven months that I’ve made the commute to LA to return to work.

Who wears short shorts?! That’s all I could think of when we were shooting this romper – but it’s so much fun!

By this point in the summer you’re probably being inundated with fall looks, but I’m keeping it real and dressing for the current season. I grabbed this colorful romper while shopping the other day and wanted to wear it in a summer-y way so I paired it with this straw bag and these slides.

Summer isn’t really winding down around here… our hottest months are usually September and October. Even though we still have awhile before we’ll be breaking out the boots and jackets, I wanted to end the week by sharing some of my favorite summer finds. These are by no means limited to warm weather, just the little things I’ve been loving this season.

Now that we’re in the second week of August I’m starting to experience the same sadness I did as a kid when the summer was wrapping up and it was time to go back to school. Only instead of school, I’m getting ready to go back to work after almost 7 months off!
