I’m so obsessed with this white lace midi dress. I only wish I had it 6 months ago so I could have worn it to one of my bridal showers! Seriously, if you’re a bride-to-be, buy this dress for a shower or rehearsal dinner… or anything really! Just don’t wear it to someone else’s bridal shower #rude.

We spent most of our weekend house hunting in some extreme heat. So it was fun to get dressed up to end it. Another day, another romper. It’s so hard to stop wearing them in the summer. It’s hot and they’re easy! This one is a bit shorter and I’ve also been wearing it as a coverup to the beach and pool. I did just that in Palm Springs over the weekend. Even though it’s short you can still get away with wearing it out casually. With a hemline this length I’d stick to wearing flat shoes.

In case you haven’t been able to tell by now, my vacation style was pretty low maintenance. FYI, this particular day my hair was unwashed from a dip in the ocean the day before. #honesty. This dress was such a fun piece to wear as a coverup and even sans swimsuit. I packed it specifically for Tulum and it fit in so well where we stayed at the Jashita Hotel.

These pics have me seriously missing Mexico and trying to plan our holiday trip somewhere tropical. Any suggestions?

For the past few months I was semi hoarding things to wear in Mexico. When this dress showed up I quickly stashed it away and was so excited to finally wear it. It’s a little more daring than I usually go for, but with the help of a little double stick tape, it was perfect for dinner over looking one of the cenotes at our first resort.

The plunging neckline on this dress reminds me of this tropical one I wore on my Birthday last year while in Palm Springs. Vacations are always a fun place to be a little more daring, bold and adventurous with your style. continue reading
