All I’ve wanted to wear lately have been light weight pieces – it’s just been so humid! Luckily Rory Beca always has the best silk pieces that get me through the heat. I went a little bold here with a bright pink tank, printed shorts and floral strappy sandals.

So sorry for the radio silence over here! Like I mentioned in my last post, I moved over the weekend and things were BUSY. We’re still getting settled in our new house but I hope to be back to posting more regularly.

This outfit is so easy and perfect for our current weather. I love throwing on a shift dress with a low heeled bootie. I feel like it gives it more shape… or maybe just height and I can always use some of that!

After this post I resolved to wear more yellow this summer, but I kinda failed. That is until I spotted this top in my closet which I threw on for a Birthday party and a day of errands. I realized yellow doesn’t have to be strictly a summer color; I love mustards and golds for fall and winter. Now I’m getting serious about this color and will be buying up more cheery pieces to add to my wardrobe as the seasons change.

After a nice long weekend, or if you’re like me you had the week off, it’s always hard going back to work. This blue shift dress was the perfect transition for a lazy Sunday as I eased myself back into the routine of my life.
