When there’s a heatwave in the summer, the only place I want to be is in a body of water. Or next to one with an ice cold glass of rosé (side note, has anyone tried frozé yet??). Or even better yet, combine the two and hop on a floatie.
Does this dress look familiar? If it does it’s because I have a problem. I have it in white, red and powder blue and when I saw it in blush I wanted it too. Oops! I’ll link them all below. The blush might be my favorite yet, shocking since it’s my favorite color 🙂 I recently came across this article that I thought was so funny and on point as to why millennial women love the color. #millennialpink
Burgundy, wine, maroon, oxblood, bordeaux… some of the many names for this rich color that seems to make an appearance every year about this time. This year I’m all about it and can’t wait to wear it in the coming months. I mentioned yesterday that I love pairing blush with it for a fun juxtaposition. I’ve found so many great pieces in varrying shades. I love them all and wanted to share.
When we were looking at houses there were certain things on my must list and a white kitchen was one of them. I was looking for a finished one right off the bat, but Jeff was hoping to find one we’d be able to customize just the way we liked. Guess who won that battle? Ha! In the long run I’m so glad we got to pick and choose exactly what we wanted.
We did a lot; changed floors, backsplash, cabinet and wall color, light fixtures and hardware. We also added a wine fridge, thanks to our parents. But decided to leave the counter tops and island color and are loving how it gives it a fun pop. I’m so happy we went with house we did and now, after six months, I’m excited to share some before and after photos of our now white kitchen.continue reading
Another little white dress. Are you surprised? This one is perfect for so many things, except anything wedding related if it’s not yours! Ha. Sometimes midi-length dresses intimidate me, but when I paired it with these wedges I felt put together, not stubby. I’m also loving this sleeveless version and think I might need it for summer. My motto seems to be more is more with LWD’s.
Sometimes it’s fun to bring out the show stoppers and this skirt is definitely one of them! A sequined, rose gold maxi? I think I’ve found my spirit animal in the form of a skirt! This is such a fun statement piece for date night or girls night or any excuse you may have to get dressed up. Mine was 8 am Sunday to take these pics and get breakfast burritos #living. Hopefully you have somewhere more exciting to where it.
I paired it with my favorite white lace crop top (also seen here // wore to my bachelorette party with the matching skirt), but think it would look so chic with this simple one. Even though we’ve been having a heatwave, I topped it with my trusty moto jacket, because winter.continue reading
