It’s no secret rose jewelry is my favorite. Not only do I buy pretty much anything rose, but I wore it in my wedding and it happens to be the material for mine and my husband’s wedding bands. I was so excited to discover the new PANDORA Rose™ jewelry pieces, which feature a unique blend of metals with a warm and romantic pink color. I instantly fell in love.
When it comes to expressing myself with jewelry I’m always drawn to rings first. Maybe it’s because I’m a newlywed, but there’s something so special about buying new rings. I couldn’t help but stack my three favorites from PANDORA together. I love the details on this entwined one, the way this one sparkles and the soft feather this one features. I kept the feather theme going with these gorgeous earrings to cap off my look.
I wasn’t able to make it out to New York for fashion week this time (Emmy prep) but I’ve been loving all the street style images. There are so many fun new trends to test drive and staples that are proving they’re here to stay. One of my favorite staples are ankle boots. I love their versatility and seem to wear them all year round.
I’ve partnered with DSW to style this pair. I decided to show an”off-duty” way to style them for fall. I know I’d wear this to run around the city between shows while giving my feet a break in these booties.
Happy Tuesday! Like I mentioned last week I’m excited to share more of our wedding here on the blog. It took me a few months to really go through the pictures (there are so many!) and decide where I wanted to share them. In the end I decided I wanted them here and will be breaking them up into several posts to help show more behind the whole day.
Today I’m going over some of my favorite details; the flowers and special touches. I worked with a florist to come up with the vision which included the ombre petal aisle, bouquets and boutonnieres, chuppah flowers, centerpieces and even floral garlands for my flower girl neices and Macallan (our ring beareress). We went with blush and white flowers to stick with the color pallet I was going for.
I’m exciting to start sharing pieces of our wedding with you all! First up I wanted to tackle stationary; invitations, place cards, etc. They’re such an important part of the big day and there are countless options. It can really be overwhelming.
Minted is one of my favorite resources if you’re looking for templates where you can still add personal touches. I ordered our escort and place cards from them and loved them. I scoured the site for wedding invites and loved several of the templates but ended up going a different way when it came time to make the decision.
I’m not really a maxi dress person. I realize how lame that sounds next to pictures of me wearing one, but they’re really tricky on my body! I’m not that tall and can get a little lost in clothing where too much fabric is involved. I’ve always been envious of my taller friends who can wear the trend without worry. However, once in awhile I try on one that works… like this blue and white number.
This is the perfect dress for the dog days of summer when you want to wear as little as possible and still look pulled together. It’s super light weight and breezy… as you can see by the way the wind carried it in these photos.
