I swear it was Friday like 5 minutes ago… how is it already Monday?! Hope you had a great weekend. Our weather was amazing… 75 and sunny both days so we took advantage and stayed outside as much as possible. We even watched the Super Bowl in our backyard. It’s been awhile since I did an instagramoutfit roundup, so I figured it was time for an update. Remember you can always shop these looks from instagram if you sign up with LiketoKnow.it.
Hope your Monday is a piece of cake – thanks for reading!
Did you watch the SAG Awards or any the pre-shows? I used to watch the red carpet and wish I was there, now I’m there and long to watch from bmw in my pj’s. Wine optional. The grass is always greener. Anyway, what I love about the SAG’s is that they’re a little less formal than the Golden Globes or the Oscar’s and everyone is much more relaxed. For some reason it’s always really hot in LA on that day. A random Sunday in January… go figure.
Because it was so warm (85 degrees) I wanted to be comfortable so I strayed from my typical black red carpet uniform. Of course I forgot my wrap and the AC was blasting backstage but I survived.
It’s been a crazy few weeks of awards shows; first with the Golden Globes, then the SAG Awards and yesterday the Grammys. I worked the first two but got a break for the Grammys and got to watch them from my couch. It’s been so long since I watched an awards show from home I’d forgotten how relaxing it is!
Once again I’ve teamed up with Diet Dr. Pepper to highlight my favorite One of a Kind Red Carpet Style. If you missed last night here are my highlights from the red carpet.
My hands down favorite from the red carpet was Taylor Swift in this amazing Gucci gown. That gown was made for her and looked like a gorgeous sparkling glass of champagne. So GLAM.
Chrissy Teigen kept with Taylor’s gold metallic trend but edged it up in this hot Johanna Johnson gown. Another edgy favorite was the always fabulous Louise Roe wearing the Australian designer Manning Cartell and uber accessible Shoe Dazzle heels! I also loved the edginess of Alicia Keys in my favorite designer, Armani Prive.
Inspired by these edgy looks I put together my own daytime look with a favorite chambray shirt, teal wax coated skinny jeans and a fab pair of heels.
With a delicious One of a Kind taste and zero calories, Diet Dr Pepper is as unique as you are. Diet Dr Pepper celebrates originality. To check out more one of a kind stories, visit us at www.youtube.com/drpeppervideos.

Saturday, in the midst of a crazy heatwave, the SAG Awards were held in downtown Los Angeles. Once again, there were lots of pretty gowns and once again my favorite was Lupita Nyungo in a turquoise Gucci number. She really is the new fashion “IT” girl and can do no wrong in my book.
Aside from that, here’s what I wore to try to beat the heat but not look like a total schlep on the red carpet. I found this f21 cut out dress a few weeks ago (it’s now sold out) and it was the perfect choice for being under a clear plastic tent in 90 + degree heat. Yes, it’s January and this is what we’re dealing with.
