Even though February is the shortest month it seemed to fly by extra fast. That and because I’m going crazy still living out of boxes, I have a quick monthly favorite to share. I was introduced to Tula Skin Care back in January but really didn’t start using it religiously until this month. I’m completely obsessed. Tula means balance in Sanskrit and it’s really balanced my skin. I’ve been using the cleanser, day and night cream and mask but am anxious to try more of the line. I try to do a face mask twice a week (Sunday and Thursday) and have noticed a huge difference in my skin.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you had a great month and weekend – I’m recovering from the Oscars/award season! XO
I always love to see what beauty products other people use. But the area I’m most curious about is skin care! So today I thought I’d share my current skin care routine. It changes from time to time but this is what I’m following now.
murad exfoliating cleanser : A great deep cleaning cleanser. I received it in a gift bag awhile back and have purchased a replacement since, love how soft and clean my face feels after I use it.
clarisonic mia: Speaking of a soft and clean face… I’ve raved about this before so I’ll keep it brief. They may be a little pricy but are an amazing investment for your skin!
kiehl’s ultra facial cream: Another gift bag discovery. I like a light cream that heavily moisturizers, for me this is it.
yes to blueberries intensive skin repair serum: I’ve found serums a little tricky in the past. I use this after lotion before I go to bed and then rinse it off in the morning.
Growing up I always had stick straight thick hair that was really heavy and wouldn’t hold curl. I longed for natural curls or waves and had a few perms in elementary school. A few years ago I finally mastered curls and beachy waves by wrapping my hair around the curling iron barrel. Flash forward two years and I noticed how damaged my hair felt. I tried to cut back but my hair felt so flat and blah so I realized I needed help.
Here’s my hair haul. I’ve used it’s a 10 and bain de terre for years but I recently started the Kerastase products and can already tell what a big difference they’ve made on my hair health. My hair feels smooth and much more nourished now.
After showering I use it’s a 10 (I’ve used the regular one as well as this one with Keratin, they’re both great but this one nourishes more) as a detangler and leave-in then throw my hair up in a towel for 5-10 minutes to soak in the moisturize. After I let it out I apply a small drop bain de terre serum in it. Later I’ll apply, again just a small drop, of keratase resistance topseal cream in it and follow with a blow dryer. After styling my hair I finish with keratase soleil aqua-seal.
