It’s crazy to think we’re already into April and Easter is just over a week away! I always love spring dresses and have fun finding an Easter dress every year. This year I’ve found five that I think would be perfect for the day. I’ve actually worn two of them recently, one to a bridal shower and one to a baby shower, and own the other three. I’m probably going to wear the blue maxi for Easter. 🙂
I am very into color right now. I think it’s a combo of spring weather and a few years of being neutral obsessed, but I’m not complaining – bring on the color! I’ve been seeing fun pops of color in spring tops and want to share a few I have and love.
This exact sweater is available here (currently on sale) and here. I love the soft pastels for spring. It will be so cute with white jeans and denim shorts too!
Spring is probably my favorite season to shop for and I’m always so excited for it. Once the calendar hits February it feels a little closer and this year I’ve already done some shopping. I wanted to share three pairs of shoes I love for spring, they’re all neutral colors and really versatile.
I bought these for an upcoming trip and think they’ll be perfect with dresses… or even jeans. They have a thick 3 inch block heel that makes them really comfortable and stable. I love the clear straps. They’re true to size and under $70.
I always love a neutral flat sandal for spring and summer. Something that’s perfect for daytime and can be worn to the beach or pool. These are under $15 and from Target! They’re comfy and true to size.
I’d been searching for a good pair of New Balance shoes for awhile… they all seem to sell out really fast. I purchased this pair a few weeks ago and have been wearing them non-stop. Not surprising, but they’re really comfortable and look great with leggings and jeans.
This is really the first year I’ve planned Easter baskets for the kids. I remember last year during the start of the pandemic all stores were closed and everything was in such a high demand hardly anything was even shipping. I’m not sure what I put in their baskets, but I’m also confident they’ll never remember. It really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. I wanted to share some last minute Easter basket ideas that will be here before Sunday if you’re scrambling.
Native shoes – these are my favorite summer shoes for toddlers… especially boys. They’re waterproof and basically indestructible.
Toddler boys cute swim trunks – these come in so many different prints/colors. I struggle to find swimsuits for Wilder that aren’t massive… love the length on these.
Cute sunglases – I ordered a 3 pack of these and these daisy beads and made a cute pair for Crosby’s basket. Planning to make the other 2 for her friends birthdays coming up. I think these are cute for little boys.
Color wonder mess free coloring – both kids love these and I love them because they can’t get anything messy… ie I don’t have to stand over their shoulders while they color.
Water bottles/snack cups – a hot item in our house that we’re always replacing and would be cute in a basket.
We’re only a week or so in but I can say my favorite purchase so far this spring has been this striped ombre rainbow cardigan. I’ve been so drawn to neutrals the past several months and was wanting something fun as the weather warms up. I first spotted this knit striped rainbow cardigan a few weeks ago and couldn’t stop thinking about it. A few days later it went on sale so I pulled the trigger and am so happy I did. I never knew how versatile a rainbow clothing item could be until I started thinking of different things I’d wear it with… once I started going I decided to style it 10 ways for a fun post.
Happy Thursday! I’m coming to you today from the couch with a kid who’s home not feeling good so we’re taking it a little slower and watching a little more tv than normal. It’s cold and gloomy outside so at least we’re not missing much. I can’t believe we’re heading into April next week… if only our weather would fully get on board with spring. I’ve been craving all things rainbow and pastel lately and pulled together my recent favorite spring finds.
