We had our first brush of fall weather last week and I kinda liked it! It got me thinking of dressing for the cozy months ahead.

I feel like this fall I’ve really edged up my look. I’ve been wearing a lot more black and can’t get enough of leather… or studs. This look combines all my favorite things at the moment; leather, lace, studs and a pop of color.

Because it’s been so warm in LA I’ve still been wearing summer clothes. It can be a little tricky dressing because the mornings and evenings are cool and crisp but the days have been sweltering. I’ve found the best way around this is layering and reincorporating my favorite summer pieces into “fall”. Now I love a maxi dress as much as the next girl but I am very particular about them. I’m on the smaller size and they can really swallow my frame and leave me shapeless… if I’m not careful I’ll look like I’m wearing a muumuu. Fit is so important! The other weekend Jeff, Macallan and I popped over to the brand new Warby Parker shop inside The Standard in Hollywood. I am so excited my fav glasses now have a store… and they’re in my city! I’ve seen the glasses in person before when I visited their rad bus on it’s cross country class trip. J, M & I had a blast trying on glasses and choosing a pair.
