So I don’t know if you’ve heard, (sarcasm, obvi) there’s a little sale currently going on at Nordstrom. I’ll admit, I’m always hesitant to over-hype these sales because I know 347573 other bloggers do and no one wants to be #basic. HOWEVER, after I complied my post on the sale the other day I knew I had to get to Nordstrom to check it out in person.
All spring long I’ve been living in these sweatshirts from Sol Angeles. They’re such a perfect layering piece when the temperatures drop and look great with everything. We went down to the beach to watch the sunset the other night and my sailboat sweatshirt could not have been a more perfect thing to wear. I stayed warm and felt like I was wrapped in the comfiest blanket… win win.
What’s old is new again, friends! It appears that even though I just did a major closet purge some “vintage” pieces still made the cut.
Denim skirts are the new denim shorts so it’s lucky I held on one… I definitely felt like an 18-year-old wearing it. Speaking of teenagers, these converse shoes have been with me since I was a sophomore in high school. That’s nearly half my life!! These bad boys have been to three different countries and look better than ever. I also pulled out my favorite balenciaga I’ve been carrying since ’04, that thing has only gotten better with age. I topped off the look with a new piece, another Sol Angeles sweatshirt that’s so cozy I’ve been wearing it 24/7.
As the holidays get even closer, and the temperatures drop, I find myself doing more online shopping. Make sure to stop by GroopDealz if you’re stumped on any holiday shopping and check out my favorite deals of the week!
How cozy does this sweatshirt look? I especially love the relaxed cowl neck and burn out look.
Plaid coats are everything right now. This one would go with just about everything from an LBD to a festive holiday red.
Rings are my favorite jewelry item and I love when they make a statement. This little gold chief does just that!
I love anything patriotic or nautical inspired. This sweatshirt definitely fits that bill. Not only do I love the red, white and blue wave striping, but it’s super comfortable and perfect for the first crisp days of fall. I know fall technically started months ago, but it feels like it’s only beginning in LA. Sweatshirts will definitely be a staple in my wardrobe through the cooler months.
