Pink, gray and nude is one of my favorite color combinations all year round. There are so many different shades of each color and they’re neutral and flattering on everyone. I picked up this hat last week on a Target run and have had to stop myself from already over-wearing it. I’d been looking for an affordable blush felt hat and was so happy to finally find one.
We are so excited to have a big backyard but since we’ve moved in it’s been a work in progress. We have all kinds of visions and ideas on how to transform the space… a big thing for us is outdoor living. Because we’re in southern California we have pretty good weather all year round and want to be able to really enjoy that. We’re taking ideas from our favorite place The Parker Palm Springsand trying to make them our own. I keep finding things I want to add, or find more affordable versions of so I’m pulling them all out for some #backyardgoals.
Hope you have a great Monday – thanks for reading!
When we were looking at houses there were certain things on my must list and a white kitchen was one of them. I was looking for a finished one right off the bat, but Jeff was hoping to find one we’d be able to customize just the way we liked. Guess who won that battle? Ha! In the long run I’m so glad we got to pick and choose exactly what we wanted.
We did a lot; changed floors, backsplash, cabinet and wall color, light fixtures and hardware. We also added a wine fridge, thanks to our parents. But decided to leave the counter tops and island color and are loving how it gives it a fun pop. I’m so happy we went with house we did and now, after six months, I’m excited to share some before and after photos of our now white kitchen.
The before wasn’t terrible but it felt really dark and just wasn’t our style. It’s hard to tell but the backsplash was so busy and just too much with the labradorite countertops.
Now that it’s June the countdown to summer is really on. Our summers don’t really heat up until July or August but I like to stock up on essentials to get me through them this time of year. On that list is a great summer dress. This is the perfect relaxed maxi. I tied it in a knot at the hem to show off my wedges but it can also be worn with a pair of flip flops for an easy casual look.
I’m pretty minimal with my accessories, but every now and then I like to mix it up. One of my favorite pieces to bring into the mix is an oversized watch. This one is from Daniel Wellington and until June 15, they’re offering 15% off with the code ASHLEYFASHION. I also have this one that Jeff likes the steal.
Stripes and tassels on a coverup?! You know I snatched thisup as soon as I spotted it!
I live close to the beach and coverups are a summer staple for me. Cutoffs and a tank are great but can get a little dull. So I’m always looking for cute coverups to add in to the mix. This one is perfect for summer. It also comes in pink, off white andorangeand it’s under $30. I also love this one you’re looking for more of a sundress.
I mean, I’m obsessed and it’s only May. Get ready to see me wear this all summer long.
I’ve mentioned this before but I’m very picky with maxi dresses. But lately I’ve been drawn to them. This one actually doubles as a kimono which is perfect for spring/festival season. I packed it for my trip to Palm Springs last week ,but forgot to bring a belt to cinch the waist. If there’s ever a place to wear a flowy boho dress it’s the desert, so I just went with it.
Let’s talk about my shoes. I’ve been wanting a new pair of tan wedges but hadn’t seen anything that caught my eye. On a quick trip to Target I spotted this DV pair and knew I had to have them. I had no idea Target even carried DV but now I want every single pair. Check them all out here.
