Striped Family Matching Sweaters

December 14, 2020 by ashadmin No Comments

While on one of my trips to Target last week I came across the cutest matching sweaters for me and Crosby. They come in four different color combs and I picked the one I thought she’d like the best. Once I got home and looked online I saw they were also available in little girls sizes and there was even an adorable matching romper for babies in one of the color combos.

I did even more digging and found a matching dog sweater AND dad and boys matching options too. Sadly the colors are not the same in the men’s but it’s a really cute option for dads and little boys.

Linking them all here –

Best Artificial Christmas Trees

November 6, 2020 by ashadmin No Comments

I think holiday decorating starts earlier and earlier each year. Here we are not even one week after Halloween and I’m already thinking about decorating. Last year we decorated our tree mid-November but waited until after Thanksgiving to hang our lights outside… I’m thinking we’ll do something similar this year. Another reason to get started at least thinking about things early is because lots of decorations sell out quickly. And with the extra time everyone has spent at home this year… I think they’ll go even faster.

Our tree is from Balsm Hill, we invested in it a few years ago during a big Cyber Monday sale. Their trees look so real and beautiful but are definitely a splurge. I wanted to share other great artificial trees at various price points.

Target has some great options 9 foot and 7.5 foot and a really pretty flocked tree.

If you’re wanting a smaller tree for a table top or just a small space I found a few beautiful ones at Anthroplogie: here, here. I also love this faux noble fir tree from Anthro. and a really pretty flocked tree.

I also found a few great options from Walmart – 7.5 foot, and this one that comes in 6 foot – 8 foot sizes.

Pottery Barn has a few splurge worthy options that are gorgeous and timeless – here and here.

A few other decor items I picked up last year that are back in stock at Target – this pom pom tree skirt, white beaded tree garland and mixed greenery artificial garland.

Hope you have a great weekend – thank you so much for reading and following!

The $15 Tank I Can’t Shut Up About

July 26, 2020 by ashadmin No Comments

If the last four months have taught me anything fashion-wise it’s that a good wardrobe of staples goes a long way. Case in point, this $15 u-neck cotton tank top I bought back in April and can’t stop wearing. I first purchased it in gray but went back for black and white because it’s such a great basic. I’ve worn one of them at least once a week since and have continued to be happy… it’s really soft/great quality for the price. Topshop sizing can run a little small and I sized up to a US 4 for a looser fit and love the way it hangs. This tank always sells out really fast but is back in stock right now – I made sure to order a back up in white (my most worn).

The Most Fashionable Face Masks

July 22, 2020 by ashadmin No Comments

At the start of 2020 who knew a face mask would be the hottest accessory of the year?! It still seems crazy, but here we are. Over the past few months I’ve gotten used to making sure I have a mask with me if I leave the house. I keep at least one in my glovebox in my car and another in my purse. Between that and washing them after each use, I’ve tried to stock up on as many as possible. Luckily my mom’s been making them to give to friends and family, so I have several she’s made. But since they’re not going anywhere for the foreseeable feature, I wanted to share the cutest and most fashionable masks I’ve seen online.

Beach Riot has 3 really cute prints; spotted, palm and tie dye. I ordered the palm print! Bonus, they match some of the bikinis and workout sets.

I’m all about animal prints and have a few different leopard print masks, but this snake print one caught my eye. It has neutral colors and would go with just about anything.

Speaking of neutral colors, I love this one. It’s called golden zebra and I think it’s so pretty!

I love this blush leopard print one and this classic leopard print one… you can never go wrong with leopard!

I’m thinking this bold floral print one will be great for fall. I love the big orange blooms!

Target has several that are priced really well and are comfortable too. They have them in kid’s sizes too.

Madewell has 3-packs for $20 in really cute prints – the black and white gingham is my favorite.

I love this one to remind everyone of what’s under the mask. 🙂

If you’re looking for something fancier or more elevated, this gold one should do the trick. It also comes in silver.

I really love this blue zebra print for summer and they come in a 2 pack so you can have a spare.

Here’s a great 3-pack of black and white neutral prints.

Thank you so much for reading and following, don’t forget to wear your mask!

June Top 5

July 6, 2020 by ashadmin No Comments

I can’t believe the year is halfway over! June seemed to fly by even fast than the past few months. June’s top sellers were clothing, baby products and baby clothes – no home items I think for the first time.

Let’s get to it!

U-neck tank

For the second month in a row this was my top seller. It’s still my most worn top (I have it in 3 colors). It sells out often but they’ve restocked it a few times so keep checking if you want to snag one.

Nuna Rava car seat

We’ve had Crosby in this convertible car seat for almost two years and just graduated Wilder to it as well. It’s really well made, comfortable and easy to get them in and out of. I have them both rear facing and sitting side by side.

Steve Madden studded sandals

I love these sandals! They’re so fun for summer and seem to go with everything. I have them in clear but they come in a few other colors and are pretty comfortable.

Target shorts

I bought these in the middle of June and have worn them several times already. They’re an excellent price point (currently on sale!), high-waisted, comfortable and come in a few other colors too. I was on a quest to find some everyday shorts that were different from my denim cutoffs and have been so happy with these.

Toddler boy shirt

I bought this for Wilder to wear on the 4th of July (with this matching dress for Crosby) and shared on my IG stories. It was a big hit and pretty much sold out. I can’t resist matching outfits for siblings – and will take advantage of it until they won’t do it anymore.

Hope you had a safe and happy 4th of July – thank you so much for reading and following!

Outdoor Updates

June 11, 2020 by ashadmin 2 Comments

Since we’ve been spending so much time outside during the stay at home period, we’ve finally worked on some finishing touches to bring the patio together. A couple of outdoor rugs, new throw pillows, another umbrella and finally having our tv installed have made a huge difference. Luckily the weather has been amazing so we can spend a lot outside. Jeff and I have especially loved sitting outside once the kids go to sleep at night.

I’ll link as much as I can below!

Striped umbrellas
