If you can't tell from these photos, it's getting harder and harder to take pictures with a toddler. Crosby would much rather be running around than stay still for a photo. But we still try. Sunday we put on some pretty dresses, did our hair (how cute are her pig tails?!) and headed out to shoot these. I think they may be some of my favorites because she was so in her natural element.... which is non-stop.

When I found out I was pregnant with Crosby my family and friends were convinced I was having a boy. And that would have been fine... but deep down I knew I always wanted a girl. Now that she's a toddler, dressing her is so much fun, especially when we can match. We were sent mommy and me matching swimsuits from 98 Coast Av right after she was born and I've been dying to wear them ever since. Sixteen months later, her's finally fits and we couldn't pass up a chance to rock them.
Planning an outing with a toddler is a little harder than planning an outing with an infant. When Crosby was a baby my diaper bag essentials were plenty of diapers and wipes, a spare outfit, burp cloths, pacifier and possibly a bottle. Now the girl needs all the things! Toys, snacks, sippy cups, etc. Sometimes I feel like a pack mule trying to squeeze it all in.

Until recently I used my bar cart less as a bar and more of a booze storage place. It housed all of our bottles of alcohol. I never really took on the task of styling it or making it functional.

I was looking through my closet the other day and noticed a big theme with my spring/summer tops… there’s a lot of off the shoulder going on. Something about that trend always feels warm weather ready to me and my closet is a reflection of that.
