With Christmas only two days away, I know I’m not alone when I say that 2014 was the quickest year of my life! I’ve already started thinking about New Years Eve and while I don’t have plans yet I’m trying to decide on a dress. I automatically think sparkle when it comes to NYE but there are really so many other fun options. What about you, do you have NYE plans? What are you wearing?!
Australian designers have been killing it lately. I feel like I’m always discovering a new fav on instagram, it’s like they’re coming out of no where! Misha Collection has been a favorite for the past few months. At work, we’re always turning to them when we’re in a crunch for a dress for an event.
I don’t usually wear a lot of black but have been all about it this winter. I was planning on wearing this to a wedding tonight but I’m going for a jumpsuit by another Australian designer instead. Like I said the other day, there’s a wide range of possibilities for a winter wedding so I’m taking advantage.
It’s probably crazy to see me dressed for summer when most of you are bundled up in puffer vests, blanket scarfs and boots, but the weather goes back and forth here. We had a very warm Thanksgiving so the day after Jeff and I decided to take advantage of the weather and walk Mac at the beach. It was almost too hot for that, we probably should have worn our bathing suits.
I received this romper a few weeks back and was so excited to have a chance to wear it. It’s going to be a staple in my wardrobe this spring/summer so it was fun to take it for a little test drive. When we have sporadic summer-like weather rompers are my favorite thing to wear… you can shop some of my favorites below. They’d also be the perfect pieces to pack if you’re going somewhere warm this holiday season.
Is anyone else having a hard time believing Christmas is in just over two weeks? I’ve made a big dent in my shopping list but still have some odds and ends to pick up. I’m hoping to continue to avoid the mall and finish online in the next week or so.
This weeks gift guide is for those fun things under $50. These items would be perfect for your besties, sister or even mom. I always love festive and cozy gifts, like this fair isle infinity scarft and adorable beanie. This price rang is pretty perfect for most gifts; I know I’ll be adding a few more to my list. Are there any gifts under $50 that you love?
Happy December and Cyber Monday! Much like I did for Black Friday I’m breaking down the best sales on the internet to make your holiday shopping easier. Below is a roundup as well as some favorite items all currently on sale.
This time of year can be so busy and hard to dress for. This past Saturday we had a double-hitter; a Friendsgiving celebration followed by an engagement party that had a black and white theme. I needed an outfit that could go from day-to-night and work for both since we weren’t going home in between the two. I reached for these fun new pants from Topshop. I love pieces like these that can work casually, in the office or even at a cocktail party. I think tailored ankle length pants are flattering on everyone, especially when you add heels.
