While I’d rather eat a limb than actually attend Coachella, or most music festivals, (crowds, sweaty annoying people, dirty feet…) I really enjoy seeing pictures of the fest-goers fashion. I mean, we all know it’s a glorified fashion show. The fringe, skin and boho-fabness that goes off out there might be too much for everyday wear but it manages to look picture perfect with a desert backdrop and a random person passed out in the lower left corner of the frame. Thursday, Valentine’s Day, Topshop finally opened it’s doors at the Grove in Hollywood. I’d been waiting for them to make their way to the west coast for so long and was ecstatic they landed in Los Angeles. Anyway, that day my boss asked me to host a segment on their arrival in LA and even though I didn’t have any makeup or hair products on me (other than what I put on before I left the house), I went for it.
